
About Jon Guenther
Jon Guenther was born and raised in the Chicago area, and traveled extensively during his military service in the United States Army. After returning home, Mr. Guenther embarked on a career as a paramedic and firefighter. He spent eight years in that profession before deciding to change course and pursue a college degree in technology.
Jon Guenther is now a highly skilled and respected member in the technical field. He has held positions as a software tester, technical architect, configuration analyst, systems and database administrator and Web developer. He is also an accomplished technical writer with many credits.
Mr. Guenther's experiences in medicine, military history, firearms and political affairs are obvious foundations of his fiction and lend incredible authenticity to his storytelling. Since his professional writing career began in 1997, he has authored dozens of short stories and poems, and penned more than 30 novels.
His interests are as varied as his talents and include reading, music (he's an accomplished pianist of more than 30 years), outdoor activities, movies and martial arts. He presently resides with his family on a high-desert ranch in central New Mexico.
